Gauntlet
AO Gauntlet. Elk leather and a snug fit for small birds.
The AO Gauntlet is designed for handling kestrels, Aplomado Falcons, Merlins, Red-naped Shaheen and hybrids of a similar size. Its range of use also includes handling a female Peregrine Falcon.
It is made from elk leather 1.6 to 1.8 mm thick. The glove is 28 cm (11.0 in) long. Its pattern is designed to provide a snug, precise fit to the hand, a central characteristic of this design.
Choosing a size based on your hand measurements helps you obtain the fit intended for this glove.
Choose your gauntlet
- Length: 28 cm.
- Leather: elk, 1.6 to 1.8 mm thick.
- Colors: Black, OAK and Gold.
- Select your hand size separately from the glove length.

Hand size guide
Wrap a flexible tape around the widest part of your palm, just below the knuckles. Keep your hand relaxed, exclude the thumb and do not pull the tape tight.
